Cleaner

15 hours per week, 41 weeks per year (3 hours per day, which an be worked flexibly outside of school hours)

£12.26 per hour (To be increased – pending NJC Pay Award)

Believing and achieving together to be the best we can be! We are looking for a highly motivated, hardworking and dedicated individual to join our supportive team as a cleaner.

This is a permanent 41-week contract, which includes a week’s clean in the Easter holidays and a 2-week clean in the summer holidays.

The successful candidate will have the responsibility for maintaining a high level of cleanliness in our buildings through daily duties. These duties will include vacuuming, sweeping and washing floors, dusting and polishing, cleaning lavatories and removing rubbish.

This role requires an enhanced DBS, satisfactory references and an online search. This role also requires the ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence and fluency in English.

Teaching Assistant

£12.45 – £12.65 per hour

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our supportive team at Tipton St John Primary School. Ideally, you will have teaching assistant experience although this post would also suit someone new to the role as full training can be provided. You will need to be hard working, caring and enthusiastic, keen to support the medical, emotional and learning needs of an individual child and willing to go the extra mile to motivate and inspire individuals.

You will require excellent communication skills and a good standard of English and Maths with the ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence and fluency in English.

Breakfast Club Play Assistant – 2 posts available

5 hours per week,  Monday – Friday 7.45am – 8.45am, term time only

£12.26 per hour

We are looking for motivated and energetic individuals  to lead a new School Breakfast Club in the village hall.  You will plan & deliver a programme of fun activities to children ranging in ages from 4 to 11. You will also be responsible for the wellbeing and safeguarding of the children in your care.

Previous experience is desirable, but training and support will be given.

The school will support the successful candidate with free places for their own child/children to attend the club.

Play Worker Grade B

 

 Mealtime Assistant – 5 hours per week

We are looking to appoint a Mealtime Assistant to join our successful school on a fixed term basis with the potential to extend the contract. The post will commence in September 2025.The role involves supporting individuals during the lunchtime as they eat and play and training can be provided.

You will need to be reliable, punctual, hard working, caring, enthusiastic and keen to support the emotional needs of individual children and willing to go the extra mile to motivate and inspire children. You will need to be an excellent communicator.
